Casey Owen Neistat was born on March 25, 1981 & is an American YouTube star, filmmaker, ex-vlogger, and co-founder of the social media company BEME, which was bought by CNN and was shut down in the month of January, 2017. Before rising to fame on YouTube, Neistat and his brother, Van, were the creators of the HBO series, The Neistat-Brothers.
Casey first gained international exposure in 2003 for a three-minute film titled iPod's Dirty Secret, criticizing Apple's lack of a battery replacement program for the Apple iPod.
Casey started to post daily vlogs on YouTube on March 24, 2015. Rose to fame with an ever growing audience due to his amazing video making skills. Also, his content was off-beat and different from all the other vloggers who were already making videos before him. Casey reached 1 million subscribers which increased to 4 million by August 2016, 5 million by October 2016, and 5.6 million by November 2016
Casey has used a Canon 70D for making his YouTube videos too.
